Carlos Avendaño

Carlos Avendaño (Chiapas, 1998), writer and director, graduated from National Autonomous University of Mexico with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. His vertical short film, Yestertay (2021) was part of the Diminuto International Minimum Film Festival's official selection. Currently, he is a recipient of the PECDA 2022-2023 scholarship, focusing on screenwriting.
